NEW PROJECTS

Valentia Community Health & Welfare Association Limited has a number of new projects at present and these are:

• Community Centre (see dedicated page)
• Hospital Extension and Renovation`
• Sheltered Housing Scheme

HOSPITAL EXTENSION AND RENOVATION

Plans are well advanced for constructing an extension to the hospital which will provide 6 extra beds and also new shower/bath rooms, new treatment room and patient waiting area.

The renovation includes relocating and upgrading the hospital kitchen and also enlarging the patients dining and activity areas.

When completed, this will mean that the whole hospital building has been completely refurbished from floor to roof over the past ten years.
